Welcome!
You have come to the pastor’s page on Trinity’s website. I am glad you are here.
Trinity is a different kind of church than you might
expect. We are honest,
next-door-neighbor people who are in love with an amazing God, a God who
loves us completely, in spite of our faults and mistakes.
We are not perfect, but are
forgiven through Jesus.
One of my favorite phrases is “practicing Christians”
because I know we don’t have it all completely right yet, so we need to
practice living as Christians.
We are a group of imperfect people who realize we need help to
live right. We know we all
have made some bad decisions, some poor choices, so we made one good
decision to put us back on the right track.
We decided that Jesus Christ will
be our Guide and our Lord.
Are you ready to make one good, life-changing
decision? Are you looking
for a place to be accepted for who you are and let God lead you to
something even better? Maybe
you want to deepen your relationship with God or with others.
If so, Trinity is for you.
Every Sunday and all week long, you will find the
people of Trinity practicing Christian living.
If you look hard enough, you can find times when we come up a bit
short, which is why we need practice.
So if you look a little harder yet, you will see us helping
others while relying on the power of God to improve us.
We know we are not perfect and will not get much better alone, so
we count on God and others to help. We
need God and each other to practice and get better.
You are invited to come this Sunday and be part of
the “practice team”. You will be
greeted at the door by someone who will be glad to help you find where
to go. Check out our 8:30AM
traditional worship service, complete with great hymns of the faith
accompanied by our beautiful pipe organ, or our 10:30AM contemporary
service led by our Praise Team and choir.
At both services you will find people practicing to live better,
godly lives. We also begin
new Sunday School classes and small groups regularly, so there is a
place where you can start out with others like you.
Will I see you at practice this Sunday?
You’re invited…and expected.
